what a beautiful weekend!! fyi...i'm posting from the pool right now. nothing like wifi pool side!! there's also nothing like being pool side for the first time since winter took over. the only thing that would make it better would be another fruity champagne, but i've settled for a biggie water from wendy's.
i have no really good stories from the weekend. i spent some time with old friends and some old accquaintances, and for the most part it was nice. it was easy going and nicely paced. or maybe that was the fruity champagne=)
the other day i said i had stuff to post, and now i'm trying to remember what it was...hmmm...i don't know. i have a lot of secret stuff going on in my life right now that may or may not be unfolding, but it will remain a secret for awhile until it is time to be revealed.
OH and this is big...
a boy who hurt my feelings actually took blame for his actions and apologized to me. i didn't even confront him. i got a phone call out of NO WHERE and he basically said that he had been thinking about what was said and he never intended to hurt my feelings and...that he was sorry. i could not believe that this had actually happened. there was no "i don't think i have to apologize because you took what i said the wrong way." "it was just a joke" "i'm sorry you got your feelings hurt." it's the biggest thing i've heard in a LOOOOOOOOOONG time=) so refreshing. the best part is that what he said wasn't even THAT hurtful, but he was sensative enough to his actions to care if he hurt someone.
girls if you want his number i'd love to pass it along...=)
oh and i also went on a second "date" i suppose with the happy hour turned dinner plans guy. this is what i learned. it is not a good idea to try and match your date drink for drink. 9 glasses of sangria does NOT feel good at 4am.
