It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.
last year i made an admirable but failed attempt at reading Oprah's Book Club selection Anna Karenina. My roomate and i were talking about how we want to read this summer, and she searched the NY Times Best Sellers list, but i think i'm going to really try and read a classic. i always had a phobia of them in high school and even in college, but i love to read chick lit, how different can classic lit be, right? so, this summer i will be reading Pride and Prejudice.
i'm already looking forward to the weekend. here's what you can expect from a weekend in waco, texas.
-plenty of new stories to add to your collection
-plenty of pool time
-plenty of old friends to keep you laughing
-the possibility of Bush's Chicken, On the Border, Ninfaritas or La Fiesta
-running into someone you didn't expect to see
-the possibility of falling in love for a moment
-plenty of good times to go around
one thing you can not expect to find anymore in waco is...
-our second home...Schooners.
i will be posting later on the wonder that was Schooners. Many good times were had there, and they will never be forgotten.
