weekday outing

i was in target the other night and there were these little girls shopping with one of the mom's on a "school night." remember how good it felt to be young and able to have sleep-overs during the week. it always made me feel like i was getting away with something naughty, and not sexually, but something forbidden. like taking a monday off work. by friday my brain has usually already checked out of responsibilities and started focusing on my weekend plans. but when monday rolls around - i should be at my desk. and i'm not sure if it gets much better than having a company outing to the cubs game during work hours to drink free beer, soak in some sun and take in some baseball.




oh wait it does... we're doing it again next month!
